This course equips laboratory professionals with essential project and program management skills to lead transformational change in clinical settings. Designed for current and future laboratory leaders, the course introduces foundational tools and advanced Agile methodologies tailored to the complexities of laboratory medicine. Through case-based learning, interactive polling, and hands-on exercises, participants will explore risk management, work breakdown structures, and critical path analysis. The course also evaluates commonly used platforms (Excel, MS Planner, MS Project, and Jira) and introduces AI-driven approaches to streamline planning and execution. A collaborative group exercise allows attendees to apply frameworks to their own lab initiatives—ensuring practical, actionable takeaways. Whether implementing automation, expanding test menus, or improving workflows, this course provides the strategic toolkit to manage change effectively and sustainably.
